HeartCode Hands-On Skills Sessions

(Part 2 & 3 of HeartCode Courses) AHA Skills Sessions supplement the online HeartCode courses with a Hands-On Practice Session followed by Skills Testing. The Hands-On Sessions consists of: Practicing the psychomotor skills learned within your course (Part 2) Final testing ensuring that your can perform the skills (Part 3) Participation in HeartCode Skills Sessions takes place after successful completion of the eLearning component (Part 1) for your registered course. For admission into the Skills Session, you must present your Certificate of Completion for the eLearning component of the course upon your arrival. You will not receive your course completion card for the HeartCode course until you successfully complete the HeartCode Skills Session.

How to Get Started with HeartCode (Part 1)?

Complete Part 1 of your course with the American Heart Association prior to completing Parts 2 & 3 with MedUltra Learning.

*For businesses that utilize HeartCode testing for employees, we can schedule your sessions throughout the day at your location by appointment to minimize disruption of your daily schedule. Students are tested individually with duration of testing dependent on the course and needs of the student.

Unsure whether you need Heartsaver CPR AED or Basic Life Support? Chances are, we can help you solve this problem! Basic life support is generally for the healthcare professional whereas Heartsaver CPR AED does not require medical training. If your job requires a specific course, verify the course with your employer before registering!

Advanced Life Support

If you are wondering why the ALS courses have a one and two day option, it's because the one day updates are for provider that only need a refresher on the material. If you have never taken the course before or your card has expired, you will need to take you initial, two-day course.
