Background

MedUltra Learning, LLC is a local, woman-owned small business based out of Durham, NC. The company was incorporated on April 7, 2017 by two paramedics that have a passion for instructing lifesaving skills. As EMS professionals and credentialed instructors, they understood the importance of early recognition and rapid response to cardiac arrest. The team set out to train local communities on how to take action through the American Heart Association (AHA).

On July 1, 2017, MedUltra Learning began instructing courses via mobile, onsite services. As the demand for training increased, MedUltra Learning opened a classroom in northern Durham in October of 2018. In July of 2019, MedUltra Learning received recognition as an authorized AHA Training Site. A second classroom was opened in September of 2020. In June of 2021, Med Ultra opened a satellite location in Roxboro, NC and added a 33ft mobile classroom that travels to surrounding cities. In October of 2021, MedUltra Learning became a Licensed Training Provider (LTP) for the American Red Cross (ARC). In November of 2021, the company was made a sub-distributor of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and became a Training Center for the American Safety & Health Institute.
